THE MVP. Desmond POH.

Hello. Shall update on the ITESC Basketball finals. First up for today is the 'B' Boys match. It's ITE College East Vs College Central. Having previously met each other in the group stage. College East beat College central about 13 points if i am not wrong. But this time in the finals, college central gave the Eagles a hard fight, Leading at 19-10 after the first quarter. After a slight change to the tactics.It was Close fight since the tip off. I was at the bench with the boys. I could seriously feel how they felt. The second and third quarter , they pull back the score to about 6 points. A few of the Central player had foul trouble.Number 8 and one of the center. At the fourth quarter , Desmond 3points's form came back as in the first 3 quarter his shooting form was way off Esp in the first quarter missing 4 straight shots. In the fourth qua scoring 2 three points and few free throws. Hardworking work and never say die spirit were shown by both teams! Also credits to wei jie for keeping his cool to manage to score the free throws , Johnthan and Jacky to score their free throw and fast break and Terence score the 3's and free throw and 2 steals by him!And the bench players, For cheering all the way. NICE one!Okay to the main highlight of the match.
With 2.9 secs left. coach Gary called for a time out for the ball to be start at the half way line. Instructions were given. wei jie start the ball, 3 players screen for Desmond , to let him try the 3. Off they go to the court, Other than wei jie , Eric,Jacky and one more guy screen for Desmond at the foul line. Then the ball were pass to Desmond and the shot were off . It was total silence . In went the Ball. Everyone went wild! Celebration were mad e by The Ce players, It was HIGH! IT crazy! BUZZ BEATER. SO that what they call, Save the best for the last? JUDOS to the both teams. They totally played their guts out. I believe it was no fluke that the eagles won. It was all their hard work. It was a close fight.
Eventually Desmond poh was awarded The Most Valuable Player award for this ITESC .
